This Privacy Policy explains how BLOCKBUSTERS ("we") collects and uses personal data when you visit theblockbusters.in, contact us, create a client account or subscribe to a package. We follow applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. What we collect
- Details you give us: name, phone/WhatsApp number, email, business name, GSTIN, state, social media page links and your message.
- Account data: your login email and an encrypted (hashed) password. We never see or store your password in readable form.
- Payment information: payments and auto-debit mandates are processed by Razorpay. We receive the payment status, amount and method type, not your full card, UPI or bank details.
- Billing records: invoices are created in our accounting software (Zoho Books) using your name, business name, GSTIN, state and email.
- Website usage: basic technical data through cookies and analytics tools (for example Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel), if enabled.
2. Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and send the free audit you requested.
- To provide the services you subscribe to, collect monthly payments, issue GST invoices and keep accounting records.
- To improve our website and measure our advertising.
- To meet legal obligations (for example GST and tax records).
We do not sell your personal data.
3. Consent
Forms on this website ask for your consent before you submit. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing arnab@theblockbusters.in or replying "STOP" on WhatsApp.
4. Sharing
We share data only with service providers who help us run our business: Razorpay (payments), Zoho Books (invoicing), our email/hosting provider, WhatsApp/Meta and analytics tools, and only as needed. We may disclose data if required by law.
5. Cookies
Cookies keep you logged in to your client account and help us understand visits and ad performance. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
6. How long we keep data
Enquiry data is kept for up to 12 months after our last contact unless you become a client. Client, payment and invoice records are kept as long as required by tax laws (generally 8 years).
7. Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including HTTPS, hashed passwords, encrypted storage of payment-gateway and accounting keys, and restricted admin access.
8. Your rights

9. Changes
We may update this policy. The latest version will always be on this page with its date.
